What it is about

MEDITATION AND MINDFULNESS: WHAT ARE THEY?

Meditation is a practice that aims to cultivate mindfulness and mental calm, often through concentration and breathing techniques. It aims to develop a state of inner stillness and connect with one’s inner world, reducing mental noise and improving lucidity.

Mindfulness, or full awareness, is a specific form of meditation that focuses on living in the present moment in a nonjudgmental way. It involves intentionally paying attention to current experience–one’s thoughts, emotions and physical sensations–to promote greater calm and clarity in daily life.

HOW TO RUN A SESSION

A mindfulness session is a journey to an inner state of deep love and bliss.
It starts by creating a space of tranquility and acceptance, where we let go of everyday tensions and thoughts. Through guided breathing and visualization practices, the mind relaxes and the body relaxes, allowing us to enter a flow of authentic presence.

In this state, the heart gradually opens, allowing one to experience a sense of connection and warmth toward oneself and the world.
Indeed, meditation awakens a natural and universal love, which envelops us like a silent embrace and leads us to an inner bliss, where the mind and heart finally find rest and fullness.

How can meditation help me cultivate love toward myself and others?
Meditation is a practice that allows us to get in deep contact with ourselves, creating an inner space of listening and acceptance.
By cultivating this loving attention to ourselves, we learn to accept and care for our emotions, without judgment.
Meditation helps us develop a kindness that starts from within and is reflected in our relationships: when we feel more connected and open to ourselves, we are also more willing to offer understanding and love to others. Start with just a few minutes a day, and you will discover how this space of inner peace can enrich your heart and your life.
How do I start meditating if I have never done it before?
Getting started in meditation requires no experience or special skills. You can start by simply sitting in a quiet place and bringing your attention to the breath.
Even as little as 5 minutes a day can make a big difference. I can guide you with simple exercises and meditation practices that are easy to integrate into your daily routine, so that you gradually build a habit that will be natural and beneficial to you.
How can meditation help me manage stress and anxiety?
Meditation teaches us to observe thoughts and emotions without immediate reaction. When we meditate, we create a space of inner calm that allows us to respond to situations instead of reacting impulsively.
This effect has been proven by neuroscientific research: with practice, the brain makes new connections that help us better manage stress and reduce anxiety.
It is a profound and tangible benefit that happens over time, but even the first few steps can bring a sense of peace.
I have tried meditating, but my mind is always full of thoughts. Is this normal?
Yes, it is absolutely normal! The mind is made to think, and it is not about “turning off” thoughts but learning not to be overwhelmed by them.
With meditation and mindfulness, we learn to observe thoughts like clouds passing through the sky, without attaching ourselves to them.
Even just noticing the thoughts, without judging them or trying to change them, is already an important and very effective step.
How long does it take to see the benefits of meditation?
The benefits may vary from person to person, but many report feeling greater calm and clarity after just a few weeks of consistent practice.
Scientific research shows that regular meditation can improve mental well-being, reduce stress and even increase the ability to concentrate.
Even devoting just a few minutes a day can bring significant results, and, over time, you will notice your mind adjusting to a state of greater serenity and presence.
